Hi everyone

Christmas is fast approaching and I am delighted to say that this year we have TWO festive events in December:

Sunday 4 December @ Willow Farm, Faversham

Our popular annual jumping show with classes from teeny tiny cross poles to 90cm including fun classes such as Horse & Groom.  As usual all classes are sponsored with beautiful festive rosettes and sashes for the winners plus a chocolate Santa for 1st place (kindly donated by John).

We will have FREE sherry and mince pies for everyone (plus lots of sweets!) and fancy dress is encouraged (but not essential).

During the day we will be selling tickets for our annual grand raffle which is in aid of Canine Partners – a charity which provides assistance dogs for disabled people.  So far we have had some amazing prizes donated including a voucher for the Hickstead Derby (worth £75), a Michaela Catterall physio session for your horse (worth £60), tickets to the Royal Windsor show, £25 voucher for Southern Equestrian Supplies etc etc.

Schedule –

Sunday 18 December @ Willow Farm

A varied programme of classes including one in-hand and one ridden arena.  Once again we will have FREE sherry and mince pies for everyone (plus lots of sweets!) and fancy dress is encouraged (but as with 4 December it is not essential).

All classes are sponsored with stunning rosettes and sashes plus a chocolate Santa for every class winner.

Christmas Update…

Christmas is just round the corner and we are looking forward to our annual Christmas Show on 6th December at Willow Farm.  With festive rosettes and the arena dressed for the occasion it should be a good show – fancy dress encouraged.

We are also donating the proceeds from the Pairs class and a raffle to World Horse Welfare.  We hope you can join us for lots of festive fun!

Due to the heavy rain we have had so far this week and the further wet weather due later today and tomorrow we have had to take the difficult decision to move our Wednesday 26th August show to later in the week when it is meant to be sunny and dry. Apologies for any inconvenience.
The same schedule will apply and we hope that you can still join us. Please can you kindly tell everyone! Thank you

Summer Show Update

It’s been an exciting summer so far with us holding at shows at several new venues around Kent with a slightly different format.  I am delighted to say that Denne Hill proved to be a big success with good numbers of entries across all classes and the best feedback I think we have had following any show ever!  The owners of the venue have kindly agreed that we can run an event there again next summer (probably on the same weekend) so we are already starting to think about classes and sponsors – please do let us know your thoughts.  White Horse Farm also proved popular despite the rain and due to so many requests for another show this year we have sneaked an extra one in on 16th August.  As it’s a last minute addition it will be showing only – but 3 rings with classes to suit everyone.  And there’s still time to sponsor a class if you would like to (£15 for 6 rosettes and a sash).

We still have a lot to look forward to this year….2nd August is our first outdoor summer show at Willow Farm in their fab new outdoor show area.  The size of the venue enables us to run showing, jumping, dressage and a dog show all on the same day (dressage will take place on a surface).  Willow Farm also boasts one of the largest tack shops in the region and all riders at our show will receive 10% off on the day.  Please do come and join us and see what Willow Farm has to offer.

On Wednesday 5th August we have our annual school holiday show at Barville Farm with jumping and showing.  Then towards the end of the season we have our main event of the year – the Southern Counties Horse & Dog Show (13th September) at Farming World.  This year the event is also hosting the Regional TSR Championships alongside the popular 15+ Kent Championships.  We will still have all our usual classes and are delighted to have every class sponsored so there will be great rosettes on offer too.

Thank you everyone for supporting the shows this summer and we hope to see you soon!
