So that’s the last of the rain and we now have sunshine for the next 10 days. Yippee. Good weather for Barville Farm and Kent Festival @ Farming World
The ground at Barville is always very good. It will be perfect for jumping on Saturday!!
Hope to see you all there
The show field looks amazing for the event this weekend – 29 April @ Willow Farm (Jumping & Showing)
As the ground is so good and the forecast now is for the rain to arrive much later in the day/evening on Sunday we are going ahead outside as planned. Hopefully pics of show ground will be loaded onto Facebook later today.
Schedule is on Show Dates page
Our new on line entry system is now up and running (huge thanks to Graham Gott) so please do take a look. Entries are now open for Farming World and the Denne Hill ODE in June!!
We are delighted to say that the new system enables us to scrap the 50p fee that was previously added on to pre entries so now it’s even cheaper for you to enter on line. Classes are just £8 each or 3 for £22 (for most classes at most shows).
Due to safety we have taken the decision to cancel our Showing Show on Sunday 4 March. The weather over the next few days is due to get even worse and we need to give sufficient notice to the venue and to staff, so we’ve made the decision today to cancel.
We hope the 11 March will go ahead as planned – pls keep an eye on my website and Facebook.
Keep warm and safe everyone!
(please note that this message applies ONLY to the shows at Jenkey Farm and not any other venue that we use)
As some of you have noticed we have regrettably taken the decision to cancel our December and January events at Jenkey Farm. With the old outdoor arena demolished and the new one not finished yet (and no date for completion) we felt it would be unacceptable to run the events with no surfaced warm up. We apologise for any inconvenience and are truly sorry for the cancellations especially as the last couple of shows have been so well supported and so much fun.
As of 1 February the venue will be under new management with no external show bookings, so for the foreseeable future we will not have any dates at this venue.
We would like to take the opportunity to say a huge thanks to fiona and Roxy Brient for letting use the venue / helping us establish and manage the events. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jenkey.
Big thanks also to everyone who has so kindly supported the shows.
WE CONTINUE TO RUN AT WILLOW FARM AND ALL OUR OTHER VENUES
And it’s the last show in our special 25th anniversary series! It taking place on 24th September at Saywell Farm. The venue boasts huge, flat, mown arenas. Friendly knowledgable judges and super rosettes. Plus there’s GYMKHANAS AND HORSE & GROOM added by request
Hope you can join us.
A good lot of rain has created GREAT ground conditions for our show at white horse farm on Sunday (16 July)!! Once again the weather has been very kind.
Classes for everyone inc ridden showing, in hand showing & jumping. All relevant classes are TSR, royal London and sunshine tour qualifiers. This is the same venue as the TSR regional championships in August (also run by us) so a perfect warm up for that event!
Colette will not have access to Facebook, messenger or email until after 7pm on Friday 2 June.
If you need to contact her with a show enquiry please text 07949 096086. Thank you…
Saywell Farm pre-entries close on Monday 29 May at midnight. However, all classes can be entered on the day…
Not long now until Spring is here and we can enjoy our horses and ponies a bit more! In the meantime we have a few shows lined up and a couple of exciting new venues….
We are delighted to be holding our first ever jumping show at Jenkey Farm this coming weekend (12 February). The venue boasts a newly surfaced indoor arena with large gallery/viewing area and a delicious café on site serving fresh home-made food inc. cakes, pastries and paninis. Tony’s Tack, Sparkles UK Embroidery & White Witch Remedies will have trade stands on site for you to browse. This venue is also going to have a new outdoor 60x30m arena installed in the spring!
On Wednesday 15th February we have our Half-Term Mid-Week Show Jumping @ Willow Farm.
On Sunday 19th February we have the second of our Dressage shows @ White Horse Farm. This venue has just installed a brand new top quality 60x30m indoor arena (please take a look at our facebook page for photos). It is proving to be a very popular dressage venue so come along and see for yourself! There are also 2 warm-up arenas (indoor/outdoor) and the schedule includes Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary tests.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you for your kind support of our shows.
We are excited to report that we have lots planned over the next few months and have listed a couple of the January dates below. We hope you can join us!

SATURDAY 14 JANUARY
LAUNCH OF OUR NEW DRESSAGE SERIES – JENKEY FARM, ASHFORD
This is the first in our new dressage series being held at Jenkey Farm (Shadoxhurst, Ashford). The schedule includes classes from Walk & Trot to Novice with some which are suitable for lead rein riders or horses in any bit/tack (inc. bitless). Jenkey Farm is being completely renovated – so far the indoor arena has been resurfaced and a gallery added, the toilets refurbished and the car park extended. There is planning consent for a new 60×30 outdoor arena (which is being constructed in the spring) but currently there is a small sand warm up area. Please be aware that the warm up can ride a little deep in certain weather conditions, but is only a temporary issue as the new outdoor arena will be installed soon. In the meantime we will offer 20 minutes at the start of each test where riders can use the indoor arena if they would prefer.
The new dressage series will be an exciting addition to our diary of events and we hope it will be well supported.
