Wow!!! I can confirm that the pairs class and the raffle at my show today raised an amazing £363.50 for the pilgrim’s hospice. Huge thanks to everyone who supported the raffle/pairs and all those who donated fab prizes. Special thanks to my mum Yvonne for selling so many tickets.
Wow what a show yesterday! Thank you to everyone who turned up – we were delighted to see it so well supported with in excess of 20 entries in most of the classes!
Huge thanks to all our sponsors who kindly provided such fancy rosettes and sashes. And big thanks to the team at willow farm for preparing the venue so nicely for us – the floodlights on car park and warm up arena were like Wembley stadium!!
Regrettably we did run out of ‘special’ rosettes so if u are owed one please remind me next time! Next show at willow farm – 7th December. Special Christmas show!!! Please feel free to text on day of show for class times as it is very difficult to predict how busy each show will be. Many thanks. 07949 096086
I am delighted to say that our first show at Willow Farm was a big success. We were really pleased to see it well supported and everyone seemed to love the venue – brand new outdoor arena, completely resurfaced and renovated indoor arena, very fancy show jumps and a HUGE tack shop offering 10% off (exc. feed). Thanks to such kind and generous sponsors we were also able to give away very posh rosettes along with some super prizes such as two £45 treatments from E&C Sport Therapy.
Our next show at Willow Farm is on 16th November and we really hope you can join us – all classes sponsored so we have stunning rosettes again!
Thank you to everyone who supported the gala show at Blue Barn yesterday – despite of the freak weather! It was great to see so many of you there and what a high standard of entries. Thank you to Juliet who worked tirelessly all day to squeeze all the lorries and trailers into the car park and thanks to our judge – Kate Spillett.
Please note that working hunter usually takes place in a larger grass arena but we ran it in the sand arena as the surface was better after all the rain on Saturday.
Hope to see you all again very soon!
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who supported the show at Farming World and what a busy show it was! Show Jumping, M&Ms, Veterans, Handsome Gelding and In-Hand Pony were some of the biggest classes with 17+ each (we did try to split them where possible). But thank you everyone for coming along, especially in that …heat! The standard was high and the winners really did deserve their rosettes today.
The dog show was also very popular and Jo Lusher commented on the quality and diversity of the entries. Once again a favourite with the spectators was ‘Best Trick’.
Thank you to all the judges, stewards, helpers and everyone who worked so hard all day to make the show possible. Thanks also to Ron for the jumps and Georgina for the use of the fabulous show ground.

Next outdoor summer show – 1st June @ Barville Farm
The warm sunshine provided the perfect weather conditions for our first outdoor summer show of the year. And we were totally delighted to see the event so well supported – especially the showing which saw records entries!
One of the highlights of the day was the Class Act Scurry, kindly sponsored by Juliet in memory of Class Act who passed away recently. Riders battled it out for the 3-ribbon sash and £25 prize money.
Thank you to everyone who supported the show and big thanks also to all those who helped on the day – judges, stewards etc – and did a great job.
Next outdoor show – 18th May @ Farming World
Thanks to a fine, sunny day we were able to run both the showing and show jumping classes in Blue Barn’s outdoor arenas and we had a BBQ too. Everyone seemed to appreciate an outdoor show and a bit of warm sunshine after months of being inside!!
The Novice Team class proved popular with one of Marshside Riding Club’s teams taking 1st place. Thank you to everyone who supported the team competition. Meanwhile the showing classes were surprisingly well supported with a very high standard of entries – especially in the Fancy Dress class where much effort had been put into making the costumes.
As always, photos can be viewed at Quantum Photographic…
Thank you to everyone who supported the Barrett’s Land Rover SJ Championships at Blue Barn today. Huge congratulations to Ben Weller (Midnight) who won the 70cm, 75cm and 80cm finals – a great way to round off a very successful season.
Good standard of jumping as always with some fantastic jump offs. And super rosettes and sashes made by E+R Rosettes. Next unaffiliated show – Friday 18th April @ Blue Barn (SJ and showing).
